Francis Vingoe (Artist)
Francis Vingoe was a door to door artist in the counties of Berkshire and Oxfordshire. He would knock on a door and show his paintings to a householder whilst offering to do a painting of their own property. There must be hundreds of his paintings hung in houses and farms but so far we have only found five. If you have one and would like to add a scanned photo to the collection please get in touch.
